Izaskun Ruiz (MovistarTV): In a lap it is clear that you are going very fast, but have you been able to confirm a step forward in terms of pace? Because you have not done a race simulation... Jorge: Well, I have done 8 laps in the penultimate round and 4 laps in the last one because the day was finished. At the end, I wanted to understand what was happened riding during a few consecutive laps. We had some little problems with the electronics and stopped the bike in some places but in general the pace has been good and we have not done the simulation starting with new tyres like some of our rivals. Jaume Busquet (MotoGP): Well Jorge, fastest ever lap here in Sepang Circuit. You must be very pleased with that lap… Jorge: You know, lap is a consequence of having a good bike and feeling well. The most important is that the bike is working, it giving me good feeling and it improves in a lot of areas. I feel better because the bike adapts more to my riding style. We’re in the beginning to improve a lot and to get the maximum.
Jaume Busquet (MotoGP): How closed you are to the bike that you requested in winter season? Jorge: Closer. But is never an ending process, we’re always fighting to improve the bike. Even so I’m very happy with all the work done, with the team. Gigi, engineers and every team member made a really good work. We never stop working because we know how strong our competitors are. Jaume Busquet (MotoGP): Do you feel that you’re closer to ride the Ducati as you also ride the Yamaha in the past? Jorge: I will never ride exactly in the same way because are really different bikes. I’m stronger in some areas with the Ducati and I was stronger in some other areas with the other bike.
