Meet Ginger, my new plant baby 🌿 channeling my inner @joannagaines this weekend with cleaning, organizing, purging and maybe a little redecorating 🤞🏻
More engagement session fun is on the blog today! I loved this late fall shoot outside of Austin. We weren't sure how the burnt orange dress and maroon-ish shirt would pair together but I loved it! Don't be afraid to have fun picking out your outfits and get a little creative! Link in bio.
IT'S A BOY!! I was convinced we were having a girl because of how sick I've been and all the other old wives tales I bought into. So you can imagine my SHOCK when the sono tech said we were having a boy!! I was definitely one of those people that asked if she was sure 😂😂 but I'm super excited and super happy and just wish we could fast forward the next four months for him to get here!!
Ohh Pinterest. I have such a love-hate relationship with you. I love how inspiring you can be but I hate how time-wasting you are and how you can set our expectations way too high. Am I alone in this??⠀ ⠀ OK, I’m being a bit dramatic but I really do love Pinterest for planning your wedding and engagement shoot if used in the correct way.⠀ ⠀ Today on the blog, I'm sharing tips about how to use Pinterest the *correct* way for planning your engagement session (hint: it's about inspiration, not copycatting). Check it! Link in bio.
I had great intentions of blogging, emailing clients, meal prepping, cleaning, and just generally getting my sh*t together today. But it turns out, Monday was the most Monday of Mondays so instead I'm drinking lemon water and wishing it was a giant glass of vino. Anyone else having a case of the Mondays today??
Kicking off the engagement series on the blog is this lovely fall New England session. Steph and Rich's session took place on some family property, complete with beautiful fields and a waterfall (!!!) Their outfits were on point and I just know they're going to make a STUNNING pair on their wedding day!
Dreaming about coffee and pastry in Paris and thinking Village Baking Co. is as close as I'm gonna get for awhile.
Well, the people have spoken! Looks like a lot of you would be interested in doing a boudoir mini session this month. So let's pop open the bubbly and put on some dancing tunes and do this thing! You can find all the details in my bio but I'm telling ya, it's gonna be a good time!
I remember sitting down at the end of 2016 and thinking 2017 was going to be an awesome year. It was the year we had been waiting for for so long. I was finally free to be a full-time wedding photographer and entrepreneur. My dreams of daily green smoothies, of mornings spent creating and afternoons spent connecting were about to come true. I had big plans for my business and it was time to get ‘er done.⠀ ⠀ But, as always, life doesn't go as expected and today on the blog, I'm sharing a little recap about life in 2017 and what I'm *loosely* planning for 2018. This post got way more personal than I intended but I'm a big believer in authenticity and sharing your story so that's what I did. And if you make it to the end of the post, there's a bonus best of 2017 playlist (as always!) Link in bio.
