Today (17 November) is World Prematurity Day, a day that would never have crossed my mind before having a premature baby myself. I just looked back at the pictures of our little boy on the day he was born but none felt right to share ❤️ I was completely unprepared for everything we went through. It’s so hard to connect to your baby when they are hooked up to machines in a plastic box 💔 But just look at our strong, gorgeous little one now. Rocking a skull and crossbones bib, chewing Sophie’s nose ☠️🦒 Being premature will never hold our gorgeous boy back! 🌟⚡️🌈
🎈Happy Birthday to me! 🎈And eternal thanks to @newgirlintoon for bringing this gem of a place to my attention @cullercoatsboatyard - best hot chocolate I’ve had in a LONG time! 🍫☕️❤️
It is exactly one year since I found out I was pregnant with this little munchkin 🥰 He’s my absolute best mate and his cheeky smile makes my heart melt. I could legit write soppy captions about him all day every day. Not even soz. In other news, it’s my birthday on Friday and I’m starting to feel a teeny bit excited! 🥳
Maternity leave has so far been so good for my mental health. Although being a Mummy brings me a whole new level of anxiety and worry about my little boy, it’s also taught me to live more slowly, be more patient and live in the moment 🥰🍃🍁🍄
Mum life is: leaving for a baby class early so baby can snooze in the pram; taking so long to get ready there’s not enough time for him to nap; trying to stuff a sandwich in my mouth whilst pushing the pram because I have to watch what I spend on maternity leave; getting to the baby class and then finally having to wake up the baby to go in 🤦🏼♀️👶🏼 It’s all fun and games, right?!
Hey look it’s more baby spam 😝 But quite frankly IDGAF because my baby is a beauty and I’m loving being his Mummy 🥰 On a side note, has anyone else got the new emoji? There’s finally a flame haired lady 👩🏼🦰🔥
