The blue mountains are home to 1000's of kilometers of amazing cliff lines and 1000's of amazing rock climbs. This amazing landscape includes some of Australia's most difficult climbs, as well as some that are far more accessible for us mere mortals! Here we see Sammy on the climb out of Boar's Head- A fantastic and easy introduction to the adventures that can be found in the world of Blue Mountains climbing!
When you spend so much time observing the big vistas found in such fantastic places as our own Blue Mountains, it's always incredible to observe the finest details for just a while. This was taken above the upper Grose Valley with walls of the Grose visible in the background. So many tiny granules of sand pieced together to make one of the world's finest playgrounds...
Abseil and canyon training with the Upper Blue Mountains Bushwalking Club. These guys and girls have come out for many sessions of training in the last year and it's fantastic to see previous lessons filtering in to new participants. This group was already clued in to many simple practices to make their adventures safer and more autonomous. As such we were able to get through all planned content over the 2 days and they left with full heads and tired bodies! A fantastic effort and a fantastic 2 days on the cliff!
@pipersara high up on some gorgeous sandstone at our most recent @shewentwild_ climbing workshop. An awesome day out with an awesome group of ladies all psyched to get climbing!
A comfortable spot to supervise, guide and teach. Always super satisfying to instruct others and provide them with such awesome skills that they will use on many future adventures!
Absolutely stunning afternoon light on the exit from Juggler Canyon.
This office never gets old...
Last climb for the weekend on our last Rock 1 course. All the participants were so keen I had to hang around for them to send this climb so I could pack down! Awesome amounts of psyche an I hope we see them all again soon!
