Today, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy joined the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) for the signing of an Executive Order that will establish a Task Force on Employee Misclassification. The Executive Order signing was held at the new, state-of-the-art NRCC Apprentice Training Center at 75 Fieldcrest Avenue in Edison.
The future boy and girl carpenters of tomorrow visited the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters on Thursday during the National Take Your Child to Work Day and toured the new state of the art Carpenters Apprentice Training Center in Edison, NJ.

From April 13th to 15th, the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) will host the first-ever Sisters in the Brotherhood (SIB) “Leading the Way” Conference at the new, state-of-the-art Carpenters Training Center in Edison, New Jersey (75 Fieldcrest Avenue, Edison, NJ). The three-day conference will bring together current and retired women carpenters, elected officials and local businesses/organizations and honor 14 Pioneer Sisters – female union carpenters who have spent more than 20 years on the job site paving the way for other aspiring tradeswomen.
