Who are you eating Thanksgiving Dinner with? I love how food brings people together this time of year. When I am in a pinch I love getting a Ready Pac Foods salad kit to bring with to parties and whatever else event is going on. And they taste really good! Classic Caeser is one of my favorites. What is your favorite type of salad? #Friendsgiving #sponsored @ReadyPacFoods
We got our first snow! Has it snowed where you are? We decided to hire out snow removal this year. We would either have to spend thousands of dollars on a truck or spend lots of time with a snow blower. we stressed so much about it. This way we don’t even have to worry about it and it’s cleared before we wake up. :) scroll down my feed to see what this tree looked like a few weeks ago.
Sweet or savory? I like both and so does my family. My daughter loves broccoli, my son likes both and my husband likes the sweet dish. I used Success Rice in my dishes. The rice was very good, the secret is the bag. I put some water in a pan, threw the bag in, and set a timer. It was super quick and easy to make without sacrificing quality. I was inspired from the dish, Easy Teriyaki stir fry on @successrice website. I used the broccoli in one dish and the teriyaki in the other dish. It feels great to know I can make master cooking a great recipe with Success, and makes me feel like I can master anything. Like all those bathrooms and dishes. What did you make tonight? -Here’s the recipe for the beef with broccoli: 1 broccoli head, 1 pound beef flattened, 1 cup beef broth, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon corn starch. Brown meat, steam broccoli, combine all the ingredients and heat til sauce thickens. Serve over rice. -Here’s the recipe for the chicken: 1 pound chicken, teriyaki sauce, 1/4 cup flour, 1 egg, oil. Combine flour and egg. Dip chicken in mixture. Deep fry. Add teriyaki sauce. Serve over rice. #successquinoa #successcangotoyourhead #successrice #sponsored
Have you ever messed up your kids birthday cake?🎂 I did tonight and it was horrible. A combination of trying to get it done, not putting in parchment paper like the instructions said, filling the tins too much, cake spilling out of the pan. It all went wrong. Can I still blame it on having a baby 🤱and a new kitchen? I almost feel like I’m back on track and then days like this remind me I have a ways to still go. :) But everyone’s asleep now and one day we’ll laugh about the crumbly cake and next time I know. Don’t skip the parchment paper! -This is Ithaca New York. I love the small but hip feel here. :)
Guess how many variety of apples🍎 there are :) -There are 2500 grown in the US and 7500 grown in the world! That’s a ton of apples. -Are you making an apple pie for Thanksgiving?

How was your day?😀 -One of the goals for our house was to emphasize our view since it was so pretty. Before we had grids on the windows and the emphasis was more the window as a structure. It was hard to see the view. We changed the double panes to a single pane and the woodwork to white. It opened up the room so much and makes me feel like I’m outside all the time with out the heat or the coldness. This one still needs to be painted and is going to be painted tomorrow. :) Swipe right to see the before.
Who likes peanut butter cookies?🍪 These look delicious. Photo by @purelykatieblog -How was your day? We had a little respite from the rain we’ve been having straight before the snow ❄️hits us like crazy. It was nice to see the sun.
