What was your favorite thing you ate today? We had a picnic outside and had ribs and hotdogs. I made these cookies last week. I wish I had them today. They are maple cookies with real maple syrup! They are some of my favorite cookies. I have been waiting for ages to make them again to get real maple syrup. I ran out last fall. And had to wait until this spring to get it. Real maple syrup is AMAZING. You can have it on pancakes, in oatmeal, cookies, cupcakes, just about everything. Have you ever tried real maple syrup?
What did you get for Mother’s Day? For Mother’s Day I got to make myself and my family a map of our town from @mapiful. After being in the army for years we finally got out and “retired” in Watertown, New York. It’s the perfect place to raise our kiddos. I can’t wait to put this up on our wall. What map would you make? Thank you Mapiful!!! FREE PRODUCT #mapifulfamily
I planted this from a potted plant someone gave me last year right outside my front door. I didn’t know if it would grow. As you can see it has and makes me soooo happy every time I see it. What makes you happy?
Put this up last week to thank all the fed ex, ups, door dashers, Usps, and people who leave goodies at our door. Have you done anything for these people? I’d love to hear ideas! #targetfeels
Spring is here and I’m so excited. Even if it did snow for a minute this morning.
We call it golden hour ☀️at our house. The hour before the sun goes down. The grass is starting to green. It’s nights like this that make my heart happy through these crazy times. What things make you happy?
I’m so amazed by everyone staying home right now. It’s helped our country beat this enemy for sure. It might still be a while while they are working out testing and such. What have you done to stay sane while staying home? I’ve been watching @jimmyfallon, school with kiddos, and taking walks. It has helped me soooo much.
Have you celebrated any big days during this stay at home time? It was our 14 year anniversary this week. We’ve gone places for the weekend in the last. We usually at least go out to eat. I picked up some food from a restaurant but it wasn’t the same. Holidays and celebrations are harder to celebrate in quarantine. I definitely need to be more creative. Maybe I’ll try to do something special this weekend. Any ideas?
My heart has been praying for the people of nyc. This picture was taken in February when we went there. The curve appears to be flattening. I hope it stays that way. I know it must be hard for them to stay inside but I am super grateful for their diligence. I ❤️ NY.
