A present from Bridgy
Bridgy is the Delta Fair Twirltacular Champion 10-12, Memphis, Tennessee. My sweet girl did her first artistic twirl combining baton and gymnastics and came away with first place. I’m so proud of her. Her routine was to Nadia’s theme and included two turns and double front walkovers.
We’re at Twirltacular in Memphis!
On this wet September morning, my mother’s umbrella. I carried it from her apartment after she died. She always had a nice umbrella. And nice sheets and mixing bowls. She never had much money, but always managed to live well.
My father was a man before his time. I found this purple cow by Thames (Made in Japan) in a box of things I did not have time to go through until today. Eat your heart out @sethgodin 💜 My father, an atomic veteran 🇺🇸, was a #purplecow
I suppose someday Son won’t want to build volcanoes 🌋 in my kitchen. 🧡 #sons #mothers
A poem my father wrote me in June 1983, while I was away at summer camp. Jennie Is Gone. 😢 I miss you, Dad. I miss you so much. ❤️
Bridgy’s been busy making cookies since her school sprung a gas leak. 💙🔥
Sunday night game night with the kids. 🎰🎳🎮
The new chandelier in Super Bridgy’s bedroom. I love you, Baby Girl. 💙 @enlightenelectric
Fall 2002. This was the last time I got on a horse. It was a bad ride and I ended up in the emergency room. 🐴 The Lord healed me that day. The radiology tech prayed for me. In 2006, I shared my story with a coworker only to discover that she was his wife.
