Did not realize that @macuisine1996 has a star under their belt when I visited last month, but yea the food was great and so were the wines. Don’t miss their ribeye cocotte which comes with this creamy scalloped potato gratin, elbow macaroni cooked in beef fat, and a refreshing salad to cut through the richness.

The best way to process all of that is over tacos and mezcal over @elmeromerosg and this yellowfin tuna tartar on the crunchy tortilla shell are the stars in my eyes. This strawberry cheesecake French toast ($19) was everything I dreamt of. Fluffy buttery brioche with the perfect light-touch sweetness and a twang of cream cheese to balance it. The candied pecans and hazelnuts provided the contrasting crunch and fragrance that added to our enjoyment.
Don’t have to be in Niseko to have a taste of @willcookwilleat Roketto Izakaya at his Frasers Tower outpost. This Nasi Lemak Chicken Wings is woaaaahh with turmeric spice and a liquid nasi lemak (coconut rice). Ate way too much but still made space for the desserts. OMG the chendol is to die for. Will be back for more!!
Tried @centurybainian yong tau foo for the first time and I’m a fan! The variety though small (only 7 items) are sweet, fresh and bouncy! There’s a mix of fish, prawn, and meatballs. The fried tofu is also lovely! Each bowl is pretty small so if you’re a big eater, go for the bigger bowl with 9 items, and you could also ask for additional beehoon for free (it’s not a lot really). Oh and get a side of their crunchy and juicy chicken wings. You won’t regret it.
Back at @burgerandlobstersg and happy to report that the service is waaaaay more speedy now (as compared to the super long wait during the media launch). Plus we did not have to wait as we were not picky about our seats. So yes, I’ll probably be back for more lobster rolls! Also #TIL that the roll only uses pincer meat.
