Each month, my students work independently on a writing prompt. I always love these to see their creativity shine. It’s also great practice on working through the writing process on their own. This whole year of prompts is available in my store! #teachersoftpt
Happy Wednesday! ❤️
Teaching grammar in upper grades can get rather dull. SO... I try to create as many hands on activities that create discussion and application of the skill. For this activity, I read the picture book, “The Three Questions,” and then the students had to answer a variety of questions about sentence structure, patterns, etc. (Common Core standard L6.3 and this is available in my 6th grade language bundle) #teachersoftpt
Today we started planning our stories! I’ll add to my IG stories tomorrow with what this step looks like! ✏️ #teachersoftpt
My sweet Godson came for a visit and we recreated this photo from 3 years ago. His determination and strength inspires me beyond words.
So happy to have my childhood best friend and her family (my Godson) in town this weekend. ❤️
