Better than my NARS? Pretty much the conversation I had with a friend two days ago when we played with the colours. She swore by her Maybelline Age rewind (known as Australia’s #1 drugstore concealer). So I figured I would start using it everyday to see how well it goes for me as it’s been about 4 years since I last used it. Photo two is completely unedited. Taken on my Olympus OM-5 in natural light so you can see how my skin is just like any one else’s. This is the concealer in ‘medium moyen’. I have terrible lines so a lot of drugstore concealers don’t usually make the cut hence why I’d move towards high end thicker concealers. But this, you can see just how well it’s sunk in without the usually clogged lines. Definitely not full coverage like Nars or Kat Von D but a really beautiful and blendable medium coverage. I’m pretty happy with the testing so far. . . #Maybellineau #Maybelline #AgeRewind #MelbourneBeautyBlogger #AusBeautyBabes
Drinking it up. Literally. That’s all my skin would say if it could explain this mask. I’ve used it twice. Once 20 mins before makeup application to nourish skin and make it look glowy without that fake glow of all over Illuminator - worked a dream. Then pre-bed when skin felt a little dull after a huge Saturday of photographing back to back clients in the heat. So far love it. Haven’t tested it’s ‘can be used as a primer’ effect but as a moisturising mask, it’s ticked all boxes. . Note: Saturday’s skin was super sensitive after consuming a bit of citrus Friday night so was itchy and red. First mask I’ve tried in a long time that didn’t sting or further the redness. Bonus. . Summer Friday’s will be arriving at Mecca on the 7th December.
