I will not eat green eggs and ham, I will not eat them Sam I am. But will you eat green chorizo and eggs? This breakfast pic was taken back in 2013. Down in Mexico you can find green chorizo in the markets. A specialty of the city of Toluca, the sausage is made green by a filling that includes chili peppers, herbs and sometimes tomatillos. This version wasn't particularly spicy but I have seen recipes for some green chorizo that includes serrano peppers! Would you eat green chorizo? Would you eat green eggs and ham?
Dedicating my Taco Tuesday to @lataco and specifically to the @el_tragon_de_los_angeles for helping me cross off this LEGENDARY taco joint off my bucket list. I first caught wind off @carnitaselmomo from @streetgourmetla's Essential T. Now, as he wrote then, the carnitas are sweet, sticky and caramel colored. The meats were so flavorful that I would dare say that salsa is optional. That's my #TacoTuesday drop for ya. What's on your styrofoam plate?

Starting Super Bowl Sunday right with one of my greatest hits: corned beef hash. My dad showed me the proper way to eat corned beef hash, request an egg with a runny yolk, pierce said yolk and create egg brown. I guess I was more a wordsmith than he. This version from the Brite Spot in Los Angeles uses actual corned beef in the hash versus the canned minced meat version. To be honest I like the canned stuff too. Are you team REAL corned beef hash or the team CANNED corned beef hash? And I'm rooting for the Chiefs because #AndyReid
