Are y’all following @mrslpaso? Not only is she super adorable, she makes awesome, engaging math resources that make me wish I taught math (almost)! Be sure to head over to her profile and give her a follow if you aren’t already!
This weekend was all about recharging and doing things that make my soul happy. Yesterday I may have skipped the leprechauns and green beer, but I was received an early birthday surprise: hockey tickets right on the glass, behind the goalie! We also had a little barbecue and some Trivial Pursuit, so basically a perfect day for me. Today is about relaxing-all my chores are done, so it’s all about rest around here! Hope everyone had a great weekend and took some time for self care!
Happy Friyay everyone! I wanted to give a big shout out to some wonderful teachers I follow! Want great ideas? Give these amazing educators a follow!
What. A. Week.
When you’re inspired, you figure out a way to make things work. 😀 After watching @hellojenjones Instastories about turning Pi Day into PIE Day, I told my students they were lucky...yesterday they had Pi with no Es, and today they were getting PIEE with two Es(persuade, inform, explain, entertain)! It was a great review of a skill I needed to go over before testing, and my kids had a lot of fun with the different prompts. Happy I could make this work!
Asking for a friend...
Picture day is this week, gotta look fresh!
I gotta do better.
So I’m basically in love with my new shirt from Target. Unicorns + lightning bolts = instant pick-me-up!
Thanks to everyone who reached out yesterday. It gives me the confidence to keep speaking out about the mental health issues teachers face, and the comfort of knowing I’m not alone. I’m currently snuggled up in a pile of pillows, blankets, and dogs while catching up on Bravo. Looking forward to being my best self for my marshmallows tomorrow!
