We call this the 'mobile' workspace - for fancy. It gets rolled around the studio and is used as a makeshift desk, storage, and table top for many styled shots. It's original to our old sewing factory building and the peeling gray paint no doubt has seen lots of stories.
We all want to have one of those Instagram feeds that other's swoon over, right? A beautiful, consistent feed that is so appealing that people immediately hit 'FOLLOW'. And while that is a wonderful goal to have - we need to remember the purpose of a stunning feed is not only to wow our audience but to really build trust with them, connect with them on a heart level and bring in new clients. It's another cloudy day here in the studio, but we saw this quote today and felt encouraged - Almost every successful person begins with two beliefs : the future can be better than the present, and I have the power to make it so. Thanks for the great words, @smackbangdesigns!

We recently photographed a look-book for @themainstreetexchange. The project began by developing Main Street Exchange’s brand infrastructure and visual story. For the photo shoot, not only the clothing was showcased but the mood and lifestyle of the brand. Customers connect with a brand’s mood and lifestyle before they fall in love with the products. Well loved brands such as Apple or @Patagonia are nailing it. Creating that connection around a ‘lifestyle' is important for all brands to succeed today. Yep, it's easier said then done but it can be done. Our process walks brands through the steps to define and then begin living out. The best part about building a brand story is that it is an investment into the future that will gain momentum for years to come.
