One of my favorite Thanksgiving sides. Buttery roasted acorn squash with quinoa stuffing and gravy. Recipe is in the archives.
I have a new recipe on the blog, just in time for Thanksgiving! Pumpkin spice tart with whipped cream.
This is exactly what I was craving tonight. A long simmered vegetarian bolognese with veggie ground round, peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and spices served over pasta and topped with Parmesan. It was so good.
I'm really excited to share this recipe for mixed berry and nut yogurt bowl using @goodnessknows snack squares as a topping. These days, I'm really into post-workout yogurt bowls. I love how you can create a new recipe each time with different flavors, and these snack squares make the perfect topping. Slightly sweet, crunchy, with nuts, berries, and dark chocolate. I was really excited to come across @goodnessknows snack squares on my hunt for new snack ideas for Sebastian and I. We love snacking on them throughout the day. Mixed berry& almond is my favorite but blueberry & almond is right up there as well. Head on over to the blog for the recipe. For those of you who live in Seattle, @goodnessknows is having a sampling event on Nov 11-12 at the Northwest Chocolate Festival and Nov 26 at the Seattle Marathon if you'd like to check them out! Also, the kind folks at @goodnessknows are providing a 25% off discount off of any flavor, if you're interested in trying. I have a new recipe for peanut butter chocolate chip cookies on the blog. Slightly sweet, a little salty, and really soft. These cookies are everything.
Pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting is now on the blog. 🍁🎃
I have the house to myself today. The sun is shining, and there is a slight breeze in the air that is gently blowing the leaves from the trees. I feel rested, and motivated, and I'm going to spend the whole day in the kitchen trying new recipes, and prepping for the week. I love Sundays. These peanut butter chocolate chip cookies will be coming to the blog next week. Stay tuned!
I have a recipe for whole wheat buttermilk pancakes, with just a touch of cinnamon, topped with warm caramelized apples and a dollop of whipped cream on the blog. I have fully embraced Autumn!
Red Rome apples are so beautiful.
