Here they are, my 2018 skincare discoveries/faves. It was so hard for me to choose my top faves of last year so I ended up with more than just one product per category. But isn't it fun to have options when it comes to skincare? All these products work so well for my combination skin - they don't cause breakouts yet they're still nourishing and beneficial to the skin. From moonlight infused facial mist, Hawaiian cleansing nectar, brightening concotion with turmeric to skin transformative oil with plant based retinol, glow inducing exfoliator with fennel and detoxifying yet calming mask with activated charcoal & more, you can easily find at least one product from this bunch that you will love as much as I do. If you are particularly interested in one of them you can read more on my blog (link in bio). Do you love any of these beauties? What are some of your skincare faves that you discovered last year?
I said it before and I will say it again: @flowerandspice Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser is amazing! Regarding skincare I probably get the most questions about the cream I use. Well this is it. I have a few more creams and they are all nice & very lovely but there is just something very special about this one that I simply can't stop using it. And I don't even want to. I first tried it months ago and although it was beautiful, I didn't really see any major difference in my skin. Fast forward to late autumn and winter and I. Am. Obsessed. This cream is moisturizing and gives a pack of hydration but is also lightweight and doesn't clog my pores (combo skin over here). It's super creamy and luscious and just oh so beautiful. I love and completely agree with their description: Have calm, petal-soft skin every day. With flower (Rose) and spice (Coriander) this cream is what dreams are made of. Do try it out, you will love it. I’m actually really very impressed with all three products Karmen created so you better put @flowerandspice on your wishlist for 2019.🙃💜
Happy New Year, my dear friends! I wish you lots of love, happiness and health. May all your wishes come true. Thank you for being there for me. Love you lots, Jana. xx
This is the makeup product I deeply fell in love with this December. Rose Qaurtz Crystal Gemstone Palette by @aetherbeautyco is what my dreams are made of. It's full of absolutely stunning colours - it features 12 shades in matte, shimmer, duo-chrome and metallic finishes, it's vegan, cruelty free, made with 70% naturally derived ingredients (ok I wish that was 100%) and is also in sustainable packaging. This palette doesn't have a mirror and magnets inside and with removal of shadow pans and elastic, it is fully recyclable. The shades in this pallete are so beautiful - they're soft, creamy, they are powdery in the pan but not on the lids, they are pigmented (even the matte ones) and easily blendable. The four glittery/duo-chrome shades in the middle can transfer glitter under the eyes but they're just so beautiful on top of other shades that I'm not even that mad about the fallout. If I know I'm gonna use them I just make sure to put on my foundation and concealer after I do my eyes. On me pretty much all eyeshadows crease but if I properly prime my lids these stay put for a few hours. They last really well as well and all in all I'm very impressed with this palette.❤️ Swatches unfortunately don't do the shades justice but they truly are so gorgeous. I was kindly gifted this @aetherbeautyco palette by Julie at @thegreenjunglebeautyshop where you can use my code Jana for 10% off (not affiliated).
