Found some colour on a cold and dull day in the mountains.
Ornate grills don't just make buildings more beautiful but also serve as a unique frame to get a peek into what's happening on the other side of the wall. Shot this whilst i was strolling around the Tansen Tomb complex in Gwalior. The man on the phone became the man of the moment 😀 ________________________________ #ohsnapmumbai @audiphotography #shotoneoneplus @oneplus_india
Can't always do this, but one of the most impressive places to view a #waterfall from, is the pool below, into which the water actually falls. ________________________________ #goproindia #gopro #goprohero5 #goprotravel #meghalaya #Tourof2017
Flat Track Racing is a whole different kind of motorcycling altogether. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to try it out recently at the #JohnSinghSpeedway in #Jaipur with @royalenfield and @rajputanacustoms at the unveiling of the new #HimalayanSleet. ___________________________ A whole day of action sandwiched into a one minute video. I definitely want to go back someday to learn to do this right! ___________________________ #royalenfield #himalayan #rajputanacustoms #flattrack #RidePure #AllRoadNoRoad #HimalayanSleet #hitthedirt
Desert Storm (of a #Himalayan kind) ________________________________ This is what happens when some phenomenal motorcyclists land up at a flat track with their badass adventure motorcycles. Watching the @royalenfield #HimalayanSleet blasting around the John Singh Speedway was a visual treat. ________________________________ #RidePure #RoyalEnfield #AllRoadNoRoad #flattrack #jaipur #rajasthan #moto #instanoto #advlife #adv #araihelmet #100percent #rajputanacustoms #trackday
This is the newly revealed @royalenfield #HimalayanSleet. The basic bike is the same as the BS 4 version of the #Himalayan but it comes with some touring related additions/modifications - handlebar, engine guard, and, of course, those pannier boxes. Plus the unique paint finish too. I hear that this is going to be a limited edition version with only 500 sold through an online registration/purchase process towards the end of this month. Swipe to see more images ➡️ ________________________________ I didn't get to ride the Sleet version myself but I did ride the mechanically similar BS 4 Himalayan on some superb highways and some brilliant trails near Jaipur. The images I've been posting should give you an idea of the fun we've had with these machines.

@royalenfield #Himalayans took over the #pinkcity today. Fabulous roads, routes and trails in and around Jaipur on the BS4 #Himalayan and the #HimalayanSleet. ____________________________________________ #ridepure #relive

Managed to write a blogpost again. This one is my guide for planning a trip to #Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh). I've jotted down a lot of information that will hopefully help any of you who might want to head there this year. Route, itinerary ideas, road conditions and a lot more (plus images, of course). Swipe to see more images and read the full post on my blog www.tollfreetraveller.com
Looking forward to spending some time on the @royalenfield #Himalayan in the company of some super cool folks in a few days. Stay tuned... #royalenfield #jaipur ________________________________ PC: @wherenwhy
Doors and frames - Qutb Shahi Tombs, Hyderabad 2017. ________________________________ I'm not much of a history buff, particularly because my memory doesn't always serve me well. Facts, numbers and stories tend to pass in through both ears and then eventually miraculously vanish from my brain 😂😂. But, one of the reasons that I really enjoy visiting historic monuments is because of the beauty of the architecture and the phenomenal attention to detail. That part of it, I seldom forget.
This iconic bridge over the River Hooghly in #Kolkata is a sight to behold no matter where you look at it from. This view of it from Princep Ghat is one of my favourite angles though. ________________________________

Bubble visor has been acquired. Perfect for casual rides through village roads. ________________________________ It is slightly odd looking (from some angles), but it's quite comfortable and a pretty cool prop for images. This @wherenwhy fellow finally sent me some of the pictures he had taken of me while we were on the Himalayan Odyssey 2017. So, you're likely to see a few of them here on my handle over the next few days. Starting with this fun one of me splashing through a tiny water crossing on the route from Sarchu to Jispa on the #LehManaliHighway. ________________________________ Note to Self: Went to Ladakh in 2016 and again in 2017. Need to somehow go there this year too. ________________________________
Blaze your own trail, put yourself out there, find your happy place, live for yourself!!!! At the end of 2016, I had no clue what I was going to do in 2017. I had lots of ideas but no clue as to how I would implement them. I eventually managed to put a few into action and the year turned out to be quite memorable, to say the least. Second last day of 2017 now. I have more plans than ever before, but even less of an idea as to what will or will not work out. Slightly anxious, but also much excited to see how the next 12 months will play out. Whatever happens, I hope I get to keep doing the things I love, learn to do them better and, of course, continue to share them with all of you. #fingerscrossed PC: @abhijit_nag

The end of #2017 is drawing nearer. I'm editing one last #travelvideo for this year. It's going to be a short one that showcases something that I think a lot of you may have not seen much of (never seen even maybe) in India. ________________________________ The video will be up on my #YouTubeChannel at 9 am tomorrow morning (27 December 2017). ________________________________ #travelwanderexplore #rameshwaram #tamilnadu #tamilnadutourism #lifeinthedeepsouth #kathadinorth #roadtrip #blueseas #beachlife PC: @questexpeditions
Kind of cannot believe that more than10,000 of you follow the not-so-normal things that I do with my life. Crossing the #10k followers mark on #Instagram on Christmas day is a pretty cool coincidence. 🤸🤹🤸 I never imagined that any #socialmedia platform would be an integral part of my life someday. But that's the cool thing about life, right? You can never say never to anything. I've ended up with a growing Social Media family that I enjoy sharing my life's adventures with. Thank you to each of you for your support and, of course, the many comments, messages and virtual hearts. ____________________________________________ Also, Merry Christmas to all of you!!! ____________________________________________ #bestchristmas #instafam #instafamily #10kmilestone #10k #saywhat #liveinthemoment #travelwanderexplore
We all look at images on Instagram and quickly double tap and move on, but sometimes, it's interesting to pause and try to imagine what all a person may have gone through to capture that one photograph. When you see this image you see lush greenery and a flight of stairs that look like they may lead you to an interesting place. It's not the most breathtaking image, but in trying to take this picture I definitely had the breath taken out of me. Climbing a narrow and steep staircase (that was almost 3km long) along with all my luggage was a brutal challenge. Often, I didn't even realise I was amidst such dense greenery because i was more focused on not tumbling back down the way I had come. I remember that while I was taking this picture I was thinking - this looks really cool and all, but when on earth will these stairs end?
