  • Ban Nam Rad watershed forest in Surat Thani's Khiri Rat Nikhom district has become the popular attraction in recent months drawing in at least 1,000 visitors a day. This prompts the local authority to require tourists to sign in a daily registration book before entering the forest, which is protected by community volunteers, and to adhere the regulation which includes a ban on food, soap, shampoo and alcohol drinks.
