My LA Times Festival of Books Day 2 haul! Okay, not all of it, but close! I did not go too crazy, though! All the authors I met were super nice, too! Also got a free tote from #bookclubbish . Have you read any of these books? Which one should I read first?
I met the awesome @miahopkinsxoxo today at the LA Festival of Books! She is super nice! She is a new to me author, thanks to @crystalreadsromance and I'm currently in the middle of her latest book Thirsty! There is beer in this book! 🍻 . . I got a copy of this cowboy book and had it signed by her! [Swipe left 👉🏽] . . Have you read anything by her? Which book do you recommend I read next? 📖
Searching for Someday is a romance between a divorce lawyer and his matchmaker... well, the hero decided to sign up for the heroine's matchmaker service ONLY to prove that it was a scam! Only, he fell in love. . Kate and Slade’s story really touched a cynical part of my heart and made me fall in love! The epilogue really made me cry, though. Only because it was written in Robert’s POV. I know it was a bit corny BUT I LOVE DOGS and Robert is paraplegic so… 😭 . . The Searching for series by @authorjenniferprobst is one of my favorite contemporary romance series ever! . . Have you read this book, yet? Can you recommend books loke Searching for Someday? Also, please rec romance books with dogs?
I finally got a nice spread for this book! It's more along the lines of historical fiction rather than romance, which is what I am used to. I'm really interrested rrading books featuring Hamilton... let's see if I can get this book in my TBR pile! . . Have you read this book? Are you a fan of Hamilton? What books featuring Hamilton have you read? . . Thank you to @avonbooks for this copy! #avonaddicts
I've been reading a lot of romance lately and I think it's time for a genre switch! . . Which book should I read next? I've already read Cress and Six of Crows, but I'm always up for a re-read! . Also, can you recommend a good YA fantasy series?
Don't you just love deckled edged?! I love it! Especially when it'a on historical themed books! . . Do you love to collect books with deckled edges? Or is this something that would make your eyes tick?
I am a sucker for second chance romance and A Duke in the Night by Kelly Bowen features that trope! Also, it's a romance between a Duke and a headmistress... also another trope that I like! . . . A Duke in the Night is the first book in The Devils of Dover series . . . Do you like second chance romance? Share your favorite second chance romance books below! 👇 . . . Thank you to @foreverromancebooks for this finished copy! Can't wait to meet August and Clara! 🤗😘
Regency is my fave historical romance sub-genre. It has been since I picked up Kat Martin's Secret Ways, a book that I credit as the book that introduced me to the modern historical romance. Prior to that, I had been reading ye olde skool historicals, most especially Harlequin Historicals! . These are some of my fave Regencies! Share your fave Regency Romances below!
Happy Easter, everyone! 🥚🐇 I was going to post this photo yesterday but if you watched my stories, you would know that I ventured out of my cave the whole day! I was just super exhausted! It was a beautiful day, too! . Lisa Kleypas is onw of my favorite historical writers and I was a bit bummed when she started writing contemporary a few years ago. Anyway, I started reading her Travis Family series last year and I enjoyed reading them! ❤ I still have to read Brown-Eyed Girl, though! . Has anyone read this book and the series? I can't wait to start reading Brown-Eyed Girl! It's about a wedding planner and a guy who she mistakes for the wedding photographer!
