I lit a candle for you today and when I blow it out I’ll make a wish for you. Happy 71st birthday Mom. You are forever loved. ✨🕯✨
If you are waiting for a sign, THIS IS IT! It wasn’t that long ago that I was working as a Nurse in the Emergency Department at a Level One Trauma Center. I was working long 12 hour shifts in a high stress environment. I began to feel disconnected from the joy of life. I had become emotionally numb and burnt out. I knew there was a different way that I was meant to serve and I wanted to live more authentically. I began looking for a creative outlet. One weekend while shopping at a yard sale, I spotted a vintage Canon AE-1 film camera. I bought it on a whim and for a great price, photographed and developed a few rolls of film and my passion for photography was reignited. Soon after, I decided to buy a new digital camera and my journey began. I focused all my energy on building a career in photography that would allow me to leave my job and serve in a way that brought joy to myself and others. My mantra during that time was that someone else is out there living their dreams why shouldn’t I? Today I own my own business doing something that I love, serving others, spreading joy and positivity. I am sharing this with you because I want you to dream big and have faith! Even if you don’t know exactly what you want yet, you may know that you want something different. I am here to tell you that I believe you can be successful at anything you set your mind to. The universe has your back and so do I. Send me a message or drop a comment if you need prayers, motivation, encouragement or ANYTHING ELSE! 📸: @katiemcgihon Venue: @winmock Event: @creativeatheart Necklace by: @songbirdme3
A hurricane changed their original ceremony date but they got married and honeymooned anyways! Now it’s time to bring all their friends and family together to celebrate. 🙌🏼 Can’t wait to see these two and their smiling, joyful faces today!
Give me all the giggling, deep belly laughing, chuckling, nose crinkling, hilarious and in love couples. Love is oh so beautiful. 💕
“Cause, honey, your soul could never grow old, it's evergreen”- Ed Sheeran Wedding bells are ringing at WinMock today! I can’t wait to see Kierstyn and David’s smiling faces. Today is going to be amazing!
“The purpose of your life is to serve in a way that brings great joy to yourself and others. Don’t worry about finding your purpose. Instead, focus upon serving a purpose, and then your purpose will serve you.” -Doreen Virtue This quote couldn’t be closer to what my goal is in my business and my life. I pray before every session and wedding that I may serve my couples well and bring them joy and light. This brings me so much joy as well! My intention is to embody the true essence of the little girl in this picture. Before life sunk it’s hooks in me, in all of us. What a more wonderful world it would be if we could all start to unlearn, forgive and make new healthy patterns. When we return to ourselves we find that peace can be simple. Joy and love in the moment is what life is all about! “Follow the path of your natural desires, talents and passions with the full intention of bringing joy to yourself and others. Your life purpose doesn’t need to be defined or pinpointed. It’s a process, not a category.” -Doreen Virtue Tell me, what brought you joy today?
Jose and Cherry’s big day is finally here! I can’t wait to celebrate with them and 450 guests. These two have so many people who love them! 💕
I love getting to know #jppcouples and learning about how they first met. Morgan and Brian grew up in the same town together but had never crossed paths. Morgan’s best friend and Brian’s Mom set them up on a blind date and they have been together ever since! Art by @napoletanoart at @solsticetavern
This woman, her education and her message have changed my business and most importantly my life. Not only have I taken almost every online education she has ever released, I had the blessing of being able to meet her and hear her speak today. She is the epitome of a courageous, strong, bold, humble, beautiful, godly woman, mother, wife and friend. She walks through her valleys with purpose, grace and love. She inspires me, motivates me and gives me the courage to move through this valley of my life. I pray that she sees herself as I and so many others see her. Most importantly I pray she sees herself as God sees her. Katelyn James Alsop thank you for being so authentically you. Thank you for finding your purpose and encouraging others to do the same. Thank you for sharing your joys and sorrows and for praying with us today and walking in the light. You are a true hero and one of the kindest souls I have ever met. You are so loved! I also don’t want leave Michael Alsop out of this post. He joked that he is a bag carrier but we all know that you do so much more! You and Katelyn exemplify a relationship that I hope embody one day. You are Katelyn’s rock, second shooter, supporter, behind the scenes business guru, wonderful Dad, husband and you bring the message of God’s love through what you do. I know I’ve heard Katelyn say in her education so many times that she would not be where she is today without you. You certainly do not go unnoticed. We see you Michael. Thank you both for being you. I also am secretly hoping that Katelyn writes a book one day. I think your message and story needs to be heard around the world. If you are inspired by her I think we should start a #kjtribe hashtag. Just post it below in the comments! If you don’t know them, you can follow these wonderful people at @katelynjames and @michaelalsop
