Guys, I did a really dorky thing and wrote out my daily schedule and posted it on #householdmag 🤦🏼♀️🤓🤷🏼♀️. I've just had so many lovely people reach out and ask me what our days look like, how we're juggling parenthood, work, marriage all while traveling the world and figured it might be helpful to share for anyone who's working from home with their little ones. More details there! 📷: @amyfrancesphoto
What are your must haves when your little ones are sick? If you've been following along for awhile you know that Owen gets fevers pretty regularly (most recent was this week 😩). While they're never enjoyable, the @fridababy FeverFrida has been a total lifesaver and has really helped to keep stress levels down on our travels when Owen is sick. Snag the FeverFrida and a bunch of other new mama essentials in the #bigbundleofjoy at @nordstrom. #ad
I hardly consider us travel experts at this point, but after almost two months living a nomadic lifestyle we have definitely learned a thing or two (or five). Today I'm sharing five changes we would make if we were starting our travels over today on #householdmag! 📷: @zackandraisin
Father's Day is looking a little different than I had planned. We ended up rushing out of breakfast with a sick baby and have been spending the day resting and taking care of Owen. Life as a parent is such an unpredictable rollercoaster, but I couldn't dream up a better partner to have by my side. Zack's the type of guy that somehow thought I was sexy after gaining 40 pounds in my pregnancy, he couldn't have been more encouraging as I went through labor and fumbled through the early days of motherhood, he has supported me every step of the way with my business, loves our kid like crazy and started his own business so he could spend his days with us (rollercoaster or not). He's hands down the best dad, husband and friend Owen and I could ever ask for, and I feel so lucky to celebrate him today. ❤️ 📷: @amyfrancesphoto
Traveling the world with a toddler and finding our household no matter where we land isn't always easy, but my hope is to give you honest glimpses into our life that spark solidarity and inspiration no matter where you’ve landed in yours.
Happy Saturday! 🌿 Can you help me with something? I'm making some tweaks with Household and I would SO appreciate your feedback. Multiple choice - ready, set, go! In my opinon, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you ... that's the kind of person that's worth sticking with. - Diablo Cody . weekend links are up! ✌🏻 . 📷: @amyfrancesphoto
Nothing on our agenda this weekend aside from exploring some new neighborhoods and celebrating Father's day with our favorite guy! - Since you guys are always asking for photo tips there's a new editing app I've gotta share with you! Most of you know that since we started traveling Zack and I have been taking and editing all of our images. It was so hard to say goodbye to the @amyfrancesphoto in NYC, but we've really been loving the process (despite how much we miss her). That being said, one of the areas neither of us are the best at is retouching (swipe left to see what I mean). That's where #mendr comes in. These guys are AMAZING, seriously. See how that trash can just completely disappears? They did this edit for me in less than 30 minutes. Watch my stories to learn more about the process and hop on over to their feed to get even more information. #ad
When you're a kid you forget that your parents had whole lives before you were born. So much of their story contributes to your own whether you realize it or not and my dads ability to own his story, to handle unexpected changes and to live in and make the best the moment has shaped me in so many ways. In honor of Father's Day, there's a letter to him on householdmag.com as part of this month's #togetherwemother series.
