Went to see Peanut yesterday, she is the sweetest little girl but has very sharp teeth! I didn't want to leave her and was tempted to pop her in my pocket and run.
This is Peanut, a three week old dachshund who will be joining our family at the beginning of Nov. Because she lives literally down the road I can see her often, which will hopefully make it easier for the little mite when she leaves her mum and siblings. Whenever I think about her I get butterflies! It's very exciting, I just hope Mouse, my Border terrier, behaves himself and that they become friends. I can't take credit for this beautiful photo, it was taken by her Mum ( not her real mum, she doesn't have hands).
All finished! The book is done, well my part of it. Now I can turn my attention to other things like the state of my house. I fear two days of full on hoovering and dusting are in order!
One more image from my children's book. This is modelled on my Border terrier Mouse after a walk on the beach!
A detail from another double page spread, this is supposed to be a kelp forest!
One more double page spread! Getting there👍
