BBG/fitness update: tomorrow I'll finish up 8 weeks of BBG! (I'm on week 7, but I did week 1 twice so that makes 8 total.) Here's how it's going for me... ▪️The best thing about doing the BBG program for me is how well it's done at kickstarting my fitness habit for the new year. After my fitness routine got a bit out of whack, I was struggling to re-establish a steady routine. Having the weeks outlined for me has been the perfect accountability to keep me on track. I've been consistently working out 3-6x a week every single week so far this year. As the weeks have rolled by, it's been getting easier to go to the gym and get my workout in. ▪️Another aspect I like about the program is that it's so scalable no matter your fitness level. I don't feel like I would ever get too fit to reap benefits. ▪️Since I've been so much more consistent now, I'm also seeing physical progress. I'm leaner than I was on Jan 1, which of course I won't complain about! My energy levels are doing great and I don't feel sluggish anymore. Mentally, I'm feeling better too. A major reason I workout is for mood stabilization. On average, my mood is both more positive and more stable than it was a couple months ago. ▪️And lastly, 28 minutes doesn't seem as long as it used to! 😜 5 weeks to go! P.S.
