Sunday afternoon/nights are for making. We are spending our date night building five more yoga mat racks that will get shipped out to their new homes this week. 🙌 If you want one before Christmas- the last day we are taking orders is December 8th!
Do you put your Christmas decor back in the same place every year? Or is each year a blank canvas? We have put our Christmas Tree in a different place every year for the six years we have lived in our home but our quirky little trees always have their place on the mantle. Thank goodness I have pictures of previous years for reference because I can never seem to remember how I fit them all on there. 🌲🌲🌲 Speaking of these quirky little trees, these are an easy one hour DIY project. You will need two cedar fence pickets, a whitewood board, a jigsaw, and our template (which you can find over at grayhousestudio.com) and BOOM you have your own mini forrest.
Our priorities have changed. No longer are our weekends filled with DIY projects. Our house still has a long way to go but we are more content with the in between look these days. We have chosen to take a big step back from blogging these past two years and focus on spending quality time with our son. Bike rides and picnics to the park are our activities of choice on the weekends. And we don’t regret it for a second. 🚲 But that doesn’t mean that we are giving up on making. Brent and I sat down and had a brainstorming session about how to merge our love of creative projects with our desire to make family time a priority and this led to two new projects that we feel excited and passionate about. 🙌 We plan to roll these out next year. One we have already shared (@rubertontheroad) and the other we will share more about soon but has to do with our love of designing nurseries. We also plan on hanging out here again documenting all the crazy happenings in our Gray House.
Question: at what age did you transition your toddler out of the crib and into a toddler bed? Or what was your decision to do so based on? Our @babyletto crib in our nursery converts into a toddler bed but Brent is too scared to take the walls down just yet and allow Connor the freedom to roam. 😂
