• Wildflowers spotted at the vineyard! We recently took a trip up to Los Olivos where our grapes are grown for @montecitowinecompany’s Rhone White Blend. These beautiful blooming “cover crops” help maintain healthy soil and a habitat for beneficial insects, and at this time of year they also happen to be extremely beautiful... driving up here makes me feel like I’m living in a book or a movie. It’s truly like running through a dreamland... 🌺🌸🌈🌻🌿

  • After we lost Tom Petty I played “Wildflowers” on repeat in my house for days. It was just before the Thomas Fire. I developed such an attachment to that song. When I was forced to leave my Montecito home after the mudslide I ended up moving even closer to the ocean in a home surrounded by wildflowers. I want to document all of them. I’ve been trying to catch up and shoot more, post more, and the weather has not been cooperating! It’s finally warming up a bit. It was crazy windy but I popped out to appreciate the lush, gorgeous green hills that all this rain has produced.
