This house has been lived in by many but in the end has been left alone to deteriorate. This home has been standing still, neglected, in my hometown of Haymarket, Virginia since I’ve been born. Molly said, “Art is my escape from life, but sometimes I need an escape from art, which is why for the past year I have been working on an original book about a mermaid.
