When two become three 💗 It’s the most special thing to photograph our couples as they start their families. Witnessing their love and how it grows, changes and gets stronger with children is such an honor. Photographing @heyitsmj and @yeshesreallycolombian with their baby girl on Long Island last month was the best.
Sometimes you have to laugh to keep your face from freezing. It's how we get through Montana winters ⛄️ Planning: @toylmt | Flowers: @thewildblume #winterwedding #winterweddinginspiration #montanawinterwedding

It's time for another wedding day tip from us! Brides, this one's for you! Have all of your details gathered in one spot where you're getting ready, including all three rings, shoes, bouquet, dress, jewelry, and an extra invitation suite. That way, we don't have to bother you about finding everything when we arrive and you can continue to get ready while we start photographing! We love photographing details because they help tell the story of your day. You've spent so much time, energy, and yes, money(!) on your perfect details, and so we believe they also deserve to be photographed for posterity's sake! Love in the Scottish hills. The UK is basically our second home, and it's always such an immense joy and honor to photograph love stories there. What’s your home away from home? Tell us in the comments! H&MU: @amm_team
Winter has definitely arrived in Montana (see our stories for proof!), and while we're sad to say goodbye to fall, the snow sure makes things pretty around here. And it basically makes snuggling mandatory, and we're all about snuggles. From Tiffany and Brian's beautiful Big Sky winter wedding with @habitatevents and @habitatfloralstudio.
For those of you planning weddings out there, we want to share some insights we've gathered in our 8 years of photographing weddings, so we'll be posting our best wedding day advice in the weeks to come, starting with today! One of our favorite things to do with our couples is schedule time to sneak away right around sunset to capture a few more portraits in that perfect, soft, golden light. After the wedding day, we frequently hear that this was our couple's favorite time of the day, when they were able to enjoy a few moments of calm before the party really kicked off, soak in a few minutes with just each other (there aren't many of moments of privacy on a wedding day!), and let it truly sink in that they're actually married! It's a good moment, and we always get some of our most beloved images during this time, as well! So be sure to plan time for this with your photographer! #orangephotographietips Venue: @oldedwardsinn | Dress: @mikaellabridal | Flowers: @budsandblossomsflorist
The perfect autumnal bouquet, so lovingly created by the incredible @pyrusweddings. They grow their own flowers in Scotland and are the nicest and most talented pair! Dress by @rowanjoy, an incredible Scottish designer who is also the nicest! Basically, Scotland is just chock full of the sweetest, kindest folks!
Our brides may splurge on shoes, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be practical as well. The prettiest blush velvet flats we ever did see for Elly & Nathan's elopement at @320_guest_ranch.
Montana weddings never disappoint. Especially when the bride and groom have the most romantic getaway ever and ride away on horses! 💖 Planning & florals: @habitatevents @habitatfloralstudio | Venue: @theranchatrockcreek
Antique lace for her and a morning coat for him. Such a winning combination. We love when our couples bring an elevated sense of style to the mountains.
