I'm pretty excited about how this turned out. Painter's tape and a little finesse! My 3rd graders are playing a jumping game with it during centers...the caller calls out a note letter and two other students jump to the correct line...best out of 3 wins! Could also work for spaces! 🎼
Who can resist this smile?!? ❤️ Macy is quite excited for Pajama Day tomorrow, in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday (who she calls Dr. Susan 😂🤣😂.) #thingskidssay
Love these “Down by the bay” lyrics by my 1st graders! You can find this worksheet in my TpT store at bit.ly/musicsubplans, or click on my profile link and scroll down for my Singing with a Sub Set 2!
#armmewith glockenspiels, not glocks, so students can make music together, not war. #armmewith time and support to create a nurturing environment where kids feel safe and loved, where music creates togetherness instead of divisiveness. ❤️🎵❤️🎵❤️
Our set-up for 3rd and 4th grade rehearsals this week! A lot of instruments and a lot of fun! (Watch my story to hear my kids rehearsing!) Do you have any concerts coming up? Would love to hear about it!
Had so much fun with first graders at centers! At this center, students chose an instrument, then played the rhythm patterns, then chose another instrument! What is your favorite instrument center? Have questions about centers? Comment below!
Absolutely love this quote by General H. Norman Schwarzkopf! I didn't have music education until sixth grade. I know I would have had a much better foundation for music if I'd had music since Kindergarten (or even better, since Preschool!) When did your music education begin?
So excited about these timers for the music room! I've made PowerPoint slides with and without sound and Google Slides with and without sound to help you do seamless transitions during your music lessons! Just hit play and the timer will count down...kids get SO excited to see the timer hit zero! To purchase these in my store, click on the link in my profile and see my featured products!
AMEN to this!!!! 🎵❤️🎶
