A truly inspirational day organised by our lovely year sixes. A day of Indian Dance- classical style-Bharatanatyam, folk dances and wedding dance to welcome a new bride into the family .
Amazing morning so far with Manisha from Pranava Dance- Learning classical Indian dance- Bharatanatyam #inspirational
Our three year sixes have worked so hard towards their SATs and of course I’m proud... but I am a million times prouder of the amazing young ladies they are growing into- young leaders capable of changing the world, caring, compassionate amazing individuals who treat people with respect and kindness.
As the weather is so nice, I went for a nosey to see what the Oaks get up to in the natural classroom with Miss Littlewood. The children are set challenges they must achieve each half term and they are expected to self organise. I was blown away by the independence.
We like to encourage independence in our nursery. The face says it all- the level of pride when you’ve done something all by yourself is far greater than when an adult takes the lead. It’s all about setting up the right opportunities.
