Today the Grayrigg Ethos Leaders and Ethos Crew hosted the fourth of four inter school ethos afternoons. The focus today was dignity- celebrating our uniqueness and how everyone deserves to be treated with dignity despite our differences. The Ethos Leaders planned and lead the sessions independently which included 1. Creating unique individual gingerbread people. 2. Learning about Rosa Parks and how we need courage and humility to be the change we want to see in the world. 3. Using We’re all WONDERS to celebrate how wonderful and unique we all are. 4. Dramatisation of the Good Samaritan to remind us that “love your neighbour” doesn’t just refer to the person next door. A huge thanks to Crosthwaite, St Mark’s and St Oswald’s it has been great to see the children developing friendships over the past 4 weeks.
One of my favourite things about our online learning journal is that I get to peak inside everyone’s classroom every day. I’m always blown away by the imagination and creativity of our Tiny Acorns.
We received a grant from learning through landscapes full of den building equipment. Yesterday we did some brilliant training with #little_chatters so the children decided to explore building their own dens using our new resources! #denbuilding #forestschool #looseparts #outdoorlearning
