These rings are at Sunset Beach in Vancouver, and came to the city as part of the 2005 Biennale. Have you ever been to Washington DC, or would you like to visit? It’s one of my favourite cities and normally around the time of a U.S. presidential inauguration, it would be packed with tourists. This is the inner dome of the magnificent U.S. Capitol, which you should absolutely tour if you ever get the chance. If you’re visiting in the future, I’d stay on the Kowloon side of Victoria Harbour so you’ll get this view of the city skyline every day. The daily A Symphony of Lights (shown here) has been cancelled this year, but fingers crossed that all will be on again in 2021.
