For Sun-Maid's family farmers, this time of year means preparing for the upcoming raisin harvest. From the last week in August to the first week in September, the grapes are plump, ripe and ready for harvest. It takes about 4.5 pounds of fresh grapes to make 1 pound of raisins. #vineyardupdate #sunmaidgrowers #cooperative
