He’s still the best chance I ever took. 💕⠀ •⠀ We have three precious girls, Harlin, Hinley and Hazel. Harlin is adventures, brave and funny. Hinley is, sweet, sensitive, and an old soul. Hazel has the biggest smile I’ve ever thing and is one of the happiest babies I’ve ever known (thank god). 😂⠀ •⠀ We would definitely love to have one more baby, but let’s be honest maybe two. After our initial pediatrician visit expressing our concerns about Hinley, but before any lab testing, we started these five supplements for support. Today I’m going to talk briefly about each of them and how we are using them.⠀ •⠀ Patch M.D. for multivitamins and CoQ10 support patches. Can I just say, thank you for making something my kid doesn't have to swallow.?! We stick these on Hinley's back in the morning for a blend of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and omega-3. And, yes we got the okay to use them for her age. There are several benefits for taking CoQ10. For Hinley we were looking for improved energy, balanced moods, combat stress, improve cognitive brain function, improved mental clarity, boosting ⠀ memory and focus.⠀ •⠀ Barlean’s Omega-3 essential fatty acids help with hyperactivity, self stimulatory behaviors, attention, social interaction, communication, eye contact, and gut inflammation. It's important to note that EPA is an important component to the omega -3 when dealing with mood, behavior and cognition. Pure DHA is not proven effective for ADHD and depression, where pure EPA is. Our brains already have a lot of DHA but not a lot of EPA, therefore it's more important to make sure your omega - 3 supplement includes EPA. I feel like this played a HUGE role in Hinley starting to talking and putting more than just one or two words together. ⠀ •⠀ Magnesium L - Threonate....Goodbye, anxiety. I sat on the idea of sharing about Hinley for a long time. I was worried what people would think, how they would react, which I know is silly. I shouldn’t care what others think but I feel like everyone cares at some point, it’s hard not too. I kept telling myself to do it. It would be good for me to release it, and maybe just maybe, if I could help one other person who is going through something similar it would be worth it.⠀ •⠀ Well, four days, in just four days since I’ve shared, I’ve received more messages than I’ve EVER gotten here. Some from friends, some clients, some people I don’t even know. All offering support and many sharing they are struggling with similar things with their children. It makes me sad to know others are struggling but I do feel strength in knowing that I’m not alone and I might be able to help others.⠀ •⠀ I’m preparing a post for next week to talk about the first supplements we added for Hinley. They are more focused on emotional support and less about detox because these were recommended prior to any test results.
