  • I haven’t picked up a new eyeshadow palette in months (last December, in fact), but I was inexplicably drawn to the new Bobbi Brown Infra-Red palette. I’m not even a particular fan of BB as a brand, so this really is a “on a whim” purchase. I have to say that when I opened up the package, I had the sense of excitement that I used to have when I first started blogging - which has been a rare feeling during this past year or two. The color range in the palette certainly isn’t unique, but it does strike me as a really well-edited version, with some potentially interesting duochrome shades in the mix. And the exterior packaging, with the orange to pink shift, is simple but beautiful.   • A little room update - I was getting tired of the sea foam paint color. My best human made the swap while I was working a late shift, as a complete surprise (I had picked the paint out, but figured it would take months to happen). Didn’t even tell me when I got home, let me find out in the morning. I almost knocked myself over with my own gasp.   • For some reason I was eyeing the Morphe/JH palettes, especially the yellow/green and purple ones. I took a page from @hannahlouiseposton and looked through my collection for anything else that would give me similar “vibes”. And what do you know, I have these two #Inglot palettes that I haven’t touched in a while. Not exact dupes by any means, but they scratch the itch. Money saved, color crush appeased, low-buy crisis averted. #shopmystash #lowbuy2018
