Happy Monday, bookstagram! 🥰 I hope you are all doing well! I had a very good reading weekend. I got 4 books read and got halfway through another one. I'm in the middle of YES & I LOVE YOU by @roniloren and learning a lot about Tourette's. Also, I just passed the first sex scene and it was PHEW! 🔥🥵 I paired it with these mini red velvet cakes because I thought the dollops of cream cheese looked like the clouds on the cover. Happy #StepbackSaturday! I get a lot of my historical romance recommendations from @swreadrom's podcast. These ladies know exactly how to hype up a book for me. I listened to their episode on LOVE IS A ROGUE by @lenora_bell the other day and I knew I had to pick it up. I've put the book on hold at the library and now I'm just impatiently waiting. Hi all! I saw this cover reveal for TO BE ALONE WITH YOU by @jodie_slaughter on Twitter yesterday and GASPED! It's so beautiful and starry and I am making all the heart-eyes at it! 😍 I knew I had to pair it with a dessert. I wanted to capture that starry feel. I couldn't pick between these two desserts so I thought why not share both? In the first picture, we have a cake that has some sparkly lights on it. Happy Thursday! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I'm pairing FIRST COMES LIKE by @alisharaiwrites with a mango pana cotta decorated with some berries. This was a hard cover to pair because it has so many colors and this is the best I could do. 😭 Hopefully, no one hates it! Anyways, this book was very lovely. I'm new to Alexis' books but after falling in love with BOYFRIEND MATERIAL last year, I knew I was going to have to read the author's backlist and anything they write in the future. Also, this book has a baker and cakes and cupcakes on the cover. Doesn't that just sound like it was written for me? 🥰 I should have probably paired the book cover with a cake or cupcakes but I couldn't resist these heart-shaped cookies! They look so fun!
