Jaime & Steven's first look was less emotional than their meeting at the alter, but no less magical. This little balcony at the Revival House was the perfect place for this intimate moment to take place. #revivalhousewedding #revivalhouse #firstlook
Recently, I've had so many opportunities to use classic cars for wedding photos and I'm not mad about it. I loved capturing portraits of Jaime & Steve sitting in the back of this #Plymouth #convertible at the park. #livinginsinnomore #stratfordwedding
Taryn & David's engagement shoot took place solidly in Mennonite country. While travelling from one location to another, we passed a convoy of horse-drawn buggies and had to watch where we stepped, while walking on the road.
Another couple frames from Kayla & Dan's farm engagement shoot on the weekend. How cute are they?
I had a busy day of photography on Sunday. It all started bright and early with Taryn & David's engagement photos. David is an engineer and loves interesting bridges, so we visited a couple during their shoot.
One of my favourite parts of a weding day is the emotional moments between a bride and her mother while she's getting ready. Some brides question whether or not they need getting ready photos; to me it's less about putting the dress on and more about moments like this one between Danica and her mother. #tomica17
Groomsmen don't get enough credit, so cheers to all the men who keep grooms laughing and calm throughout a day that can be a rollercoaster of emotions. Michael's guys were a ton of fun on his and Alyssa's wedding day.
Raeven & Marcus have been receiving a huge amount of love and support through the photos I've been posting, which really is a reflection of the positive impact they've had on their community. #raevensgettingrahamered
I may or may not be obsessed with the photos I captured with Beverly & Vish during their impromtu sunset session during their wedding reception. There were only a few minutes of this light when the sun peeked out under the clouds, before setting behind the escarpment. #bishplz2017
Jenn & Jeromy's intimate backyard wedding was personalized from the location and decorations, to the dancing procession and the funny, yet heartfelt vows they wrote for each other. #jennmarriesjer
Jenn & Jeromy's backyard wedding this weekend was everything they had hoped, with the exception of a bit of afternoon rain that we could have done without. With their laid-back attitudes, the newlyweds didn't let a little rain ruin their day. #jennmarriesjer
Sophia & Derek's wedding day was beautiful in every way and nonstop fun from beginning to end. A big congratulations to the #newlyweds! #tohaffandtohold
My favourite thing about Steve & Zach's engagement shoot was watching them being total goofballs with each other and make each other laugh through the whole thing. I'm excited to capture this magic again on their wedding day in November.
On Sunday, I met up with Steve & Zach at the recently re-opened Toronto Islands. Ward's Island was among their top choices as a wedding location, so even though they chose a different venue, I'm glad we were still able to shoot their engagement photos there.
In lieu of seeing each other for the first time at the alter, Danica & Tom opted to go the First Look route, which I feel allows couples to really take in this big moment of a wedding day and take a lot of pressure off the ceremony. #tomica17 #firstlook
I had a really great time hanging out with Danielle & Jarrett on the calm, quiet evening of their engagement shoot. Just a short time chatting and observing couples during an engagement shoot adds a super important level of comfort and trust that brings out the best moments on the wedding day. I'm looking forward to Danielle & Jarrett's big day next June.
It was looking like rain was going to put a damper on Marissa & Daniel's wedding day yesterday, but after a big storm passed through Milton, the sun came out, for a beautiful sunny afternoon. #allwedoiswiniarz #graniteridgegolfclub #graniteridge
One of my favourite moments from Danica & Tom's wedding day was shortly after the ceremony, when I was shooting a quick individual portrait of Tom. After a couple frames with a straight face, he said Should I smile? and I said Sure. I think your wife would like that. I think this is when it sunk in that he's a married man. #tomica17
On Saturday, Danica & Tom were both so clearly overjoyed to be marrying their best friend. Their wedding day was a party from beginning to end and I had the best time capturing it every step of the way. I've known Danica since childhood, so their wedding was especially meaningful to me. Cheers to the newlyweds! #tomica17
At my initial consultation with Danielle & Jarrett, Danielle mentioned that she imagined her engagement photos in a meadow. So I brought them to this park near Waterloo. They even brought their dog Behr along, who is barely visible in the tall grass. Thankfully, we caught the last bit of late day sun before the clouds rolled in.
Congratulations to Alyssa & Michael, who travelled from their home in New York City to Toronto for their beautiful #torontowedding yesterday. I had such a great time with the newlyweds, their families and friends.
This is one of my favourite moments of a wedding day to capture. After months (or years) of planning, the newlyweds have finally married their best friend. They're looking towards celebrating that night and towards their future together. How could you not smile about that? Congrats Tara & Jeff! #BartlettFarmWedding
Tara & Jeff's tented wedding reception had a ton of great decorative details. You can see how much work went into really setting the mood for their rustic farm wedding. #BartlettFarmWedding @teejyb @bartlett2266
Yesterday, Beverly & Vish joined together in marriage. I snuck them out of their reception for a few minutes to capture this magic. #bishplz2017 Congrats to the newlyweds!
