When it comes to decorating the mantel, I grab some pretty leaves from the yard and call it a day.
She sleeps in the cutest positions and it makes my heart almost burst.

I've always struggled with celebrating Columbus in the classroom given the historical truth about him. It’s even more challenging because upper elementary kids have often been taught a lot of lies about him. If you are looking for a resource that addresses some of the most prevalent myths about Columbus in a way that is sensitive enough for children, you may be interested in this unit. It gives 3rd through 5th graders the facts and lets them decide whether or not Columbus should really be celebrated as a hero in America. I stinking love my origami crane Lularoe leggings! They remind me of my grandpa. For as long as I can remember, he has made beautiful paper cranes and loves to watch little ones' eyes light up when he makes their wings flap. He also carries a journal with him wherever he goes, capturing our families' memories between the pages. I love to read his words. #journalingrunsinthefamily
Yay for Amazon deliveries! Any ideas what I've got up my sleeve for these beauties? 😍
