The @pewcenterarts announced yesterday that the @myphillypark will receive a project grant to partner with Trisha Brown Dance Company, bringing Trisha’s works to new audiences in a series of site-responsive, outdoor performances. The Conservancy, which fosters stewardship of and innovative programs in one of the largest urban park systems in the world, will present this collaborative project, In Motion, In Place: Trisha Brown Dance Company in Fairmount Park” for Philadelphia communities as a cornerstone of its 2019 arts and culture programming. The Pew grants support the Philadelphia region’s cultural organizations and artists. The 2018 awards total more than $8.7 million and provide funding for 12 Pew Fellowships and 33 Project grants.
