It’s been a hell of a week including unexpected house guests, hospital visits, evening events and an ear infection. So today I’m resting and recuperating before we head out to Iceland this week, which seriously is much needed at the moment. Bring on the beautiful scenery, a little bit of snow and some cold temps and I’ll be happier than ever. #iceland
Earlier this week, a good family friend of ours’ son, who we think of as a nephew, was in the hospital up at OHSU. And while it was terrible seeing him in pain and having to spend so much time cooped up in his room, we grabbed this beautiful view as I walked down the halls with him on one of the few breaks he got. The views from up thee are truly stunning.
We have a friend staying with us this week and to let him sleep (while Nick and I are up at the crack of dawn), this is my office for the morning. So bring on the flat whites....
Having some friends over for a little holiday dinner party and so excited to try out this pumpkin and chocolate swirl bundt cake! #home #ilovebaking
Fall isn’t over yet at the Farmers Market despite the 45 degrees temps! #farmersmarket
The sunrise this morning was pretty incredible and one of the things I love most about this time of year, Winter sunrises with the most beautiful colors. #sunrise #wintersunrise @travelportland
7 years ago @nicknieto and I said our “I Do’s” in front of 75 of our closest friends and family while the rain fell outside and the streetcar rumbled past. 7 years later, when I think of all we’ve done together, I’m in awe of the life we’ve built. So here’s to the next 7 my love! #love
Farmers market mornings are the best kind of mornings. #farmersmarket
