Yep still going with the Italy pics. Because medieval hamlets are pretty freaking cool. This one is Montefioralle, just above Greve in Chianti. I feel like I should have been wearing a long dress and rescuing servants, Ever After style.
Yep, I'm still posting Italy pictures. Mostly because I want to go back to the Enoteca Falorni in Greve. Self service wine tasting and you feel like you're in an old cellar. A very nice, elegant, cellar 😄
We're back home now, but I can't stop thinking about Italy. I keeping thinking about having less stuff, but more adventures. I've been mulling this over for the past year, but going to Italy has really put this into perspective. We've met amazing people, struggled to understand the language and a few cultural things, were outside our comfort zones and made mistakes, and loved that feeling of learning. I don't think we'll be leaving the country to travel again anytime soon, but I'd definitely like to start going on more local adventures.
Wine is sunlight, held together by water. ~ Galileo Galilei And here's where the sunlight starts.
Excuse the vast amount of photos I'm about to post of green rolling hills and vineyards dotted with Tuscan villas. I may have been a little obsessed 😊
That time @cribs and I went wine tasting and discovered that Italy doesn't do wimpy tasting pours. They're all oh you just want a taste? Here's half a glass of each. My kind of people 🍷
Let the wine tasting begin!
Going to hide away in the countryside for a few days. I think we may have walked into a fairy tale.
