You know those times when you really just need a good hug, well that was all day yesterday. . I cried a majority of yesterday, and not just a tear, here and there, but a good old fashioned ugly cry. My sister sent me a text that really resonated with me/made me cry more, and it's something I think everyone needs to read... . I wish I could just take out your little voice in your head and stick my voice in there to constantly let you know how important and incredibly valuable you are. You are such a bright light in not only my life, but every life you have ever touched. I truly don't know what I would do with out you. . I want you to reread that and apply that to YOU and to YOUR life because YOU too are so much more then the voices in your head. YOU are special and important and beautiful and enough. YOU were purposely made to be YOU. All of YOU. YOU are a bright light in someone's life. . The voice in your own head is your worst and most negative critic. Your worst enemy. It's so easy to become a victim of those voices, to then start agreeing with those voices. . I want to challenge you to tell those voices, NO. You are wrong. I want to challenge you to look at yourself through someone else's eyes- that someone being a person who loves you most in this life. . I'm not going to tell you it's going to be easy because it's not. It's going to take time and patience and a whole lot of faith, but, in time, those voices will become whispers and then they will become nothing more then a distant memory. . They might come back, but when and if they do, rinse and repeat because YOU are so much more then those voices. YOU were purposely made to be you and that will always be enough.

So I don’t mind it being 70 degrees in February, not one bit, BUT I’m not about this crazy weather change every other day. . My body can’t handle it, Mother Nature! . This week has been filled with rest, medicine, a lot of water, and puppy snuggles. 🤧 . Tomorrow Lily and I are heading back to the 757 to attend a wedding (yep, I said attend) and photograph Audrey’s workshop!! No time for sickness this weekend!! . What fun plans do you have this weekend!? . P.S. If you missed this stunning maternity session that I blogged this week, head on over!! 😍
I absolutely loved seeing these two and their wedding day on @theperfectpalette website today😍 . My last wedding of 2017 was a dream and I’m so so glad The Perfect Palette thought so as well! . Head on over to their page to check out the feature! 😍
Happy Valentine’s Day to this amazing human! . You might be thinking, “Corrin, that was yesterday... 🤷🏼♀️.” Well yesterday might have been your Valentine’s Day, but today is ours. 😏 . Why, you ask? Well, 4 years ago today, MJ told me he loved me for the very first time. ❤️ I can’t even describe the way I felt when I heard those words come out of his mouth. This man, this incredibly funny, kind, and thoughtful man, loved me. (Suckerrrrrrr 😂) So from them on out, we decided today, the day after Valentine’s Day, was going to be our ❤️ Day. . We’re not perfect, but we’re us and I could not be more thankful. MJ, thank you for being my very best friend and making life so much fun! I love you ❤️
Oh heyyyy 👋🏻 . For those of you that are new around here, my name is Corrin, and I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your life through this social media platform. (Seriously, it’s an honor!) . I want to share 3 random fun facts with you! Ready!? . 1. I was born in Colorado, and soon after my birth, we moved to Japan! Where we then lived for 3 1/2 years! (I was considered a good luck charm in Japan because of my hair, and complete strangers would touch my hair and take pictures with me. 😳😂) . 2. I twirled baton for 5 years! I wanted that 5 year participation trophy. 🙈 . 3. Singing has been a huge part of my life since I can remember! Everything from district chorus to show choir to National Anthems to singing as loudly as I can in the car! 😍 . So, random question for you... what’s your favorite event in the Olympics?? I have so many right now! 🙌🏻🎉 . 📷 taken by @brookemichellej and edited by me 🙋🏼
