Looked through my journal stashto gift two deserving ladies a snail mail journal surprise. Both are stretched beyond measure being solo caregivers to their moms, holding down their jobs and fulfilling their everyday responsibilities. I suggested journaling to them because it offers an opportunity to decompress and release. My heart goes out to them. I sure hope they will give it a try.
Attended a sewing workshop @tailormadeshop and it made me realize how much I miss sewing, my first creative love. Making and creating with your hands is an incredible and beautiful thing.
Perfect day for a #mariekondo closet cleaning. That’s when you throw all the clothing you own on your bed and only keep what sparks your joy. Definitely not a pretty pic but I much prefer keeping it real. Looking forward to an orderly closet that contains only what I love. And I get to cross off one item on my #19for2019 list! Yay! #livingwithless
How about rebranding Valentine’s Day into “Love Yourself Day”! Let’s celebrate you for being you! You know, those unique qualities that you appreciate most about yourself. I happen to love my creativity, mindfulness and reverence for the quieter moments. What say you? What 3 things do you love most about you? #self-love #affirmation
Had the pleasure of moderating the #TableTopics exercise at my #toastmasters. Table topics is an opportunity for members and guests to quickly organize and express their thoughts in an impromptu manner. In the spirit of the New Year, I thought the categories Celebration, Reflection, Aspiration and Intention would generate some heartfelt responses. And they did. Still getting my feet wet but I always leave more inspired and fulfilled than when I arrived.
Happy New Year! Finalizing my #19for2019 goals. Bought a #christywright Goal Planner to help keep me focused and accountable. My intention is to keep procrastination to a minimum. May peace, love and joy be yours throughout the New Year.
