ENHM Staff our and about in the community. Monday night was Quiz Night run by the Eromanga State School P&C. This fundraiser was organised to coincide with a visit by the Roustabouts RV Club. A fun night making the grey matter work thank you P&C and Quizmaster. Our ENHM team came in second and loved our prize donated by Bulloo Blooms.
Thank you Samantha Meurant Art for bringing your Bubbles and Brushstrokes art workshop to the Eromanga Natural History Museum tonight. A fun night enjoyed by all. #eromanganaturalhistorymuseum #outbackqueensland #seequeensland #visitquilpieshire

Just before the final jacket covered this beautiful bone to end the 2019 dig. It will reappear as it is carefully prepped out from the rock. We will return to Monty’s site again next year to continue to follow this dense concentration of bone in rock. #eromanganaturalhistorymuseum #palaeontology #dinodig #titanosaurs #visitquilpieshire #outbackqueensland
Whipping up a batch of lemonade scones for a tour group yesterday. Thank you to Stonestreets Travel for including a Dinosaur Giants tour into your visit to Quilpie Shire.
Monty’s site brings out the graffiti artist! Recording the location of each block is essential to accurately document Monty’s site. We get very inventive with symbols to make sure there aren’t duplicates creating confusion when we go to piece them together after they are prepared. #eromanganhmuseum #dinodig #visitquilpieshire #seequeensland #outbackqueensland

It’s been raining 🐈 and 🐕 at ENHM today. Not literally of course 😂 but we are getting some lovely follow up rain. Don’t worry though, we are still open for tours. Please check the relevant Shire road reports though as there are now some road closures in Quilpie and neighbouring Shires. #eromanganhmuseum #visitquilpieshire #outbackqueensland

Robyn (our General Manager) and Stuart (OGF’s Chair) are on a study tour in Canada and the US. The tour has been organised by Tourism and Events Queensland and Outback Queensland Tourism and is a fantastic opportunity to gather ideas prior to building starting on Stage 2 of our Museum. They are pictured here with Derek Larson the Assistant Curator at the Philip J. Currie Museum in Alberta, Canada. Thank you to Derek and his staff for being so welcoming. #eromanganaturalhistorymuseum #visitquilpieshire
