“Remember why you started”. This quote is something that has been ringing in my ear lately. When I first started Photography I actually was very into the still life aspect of Photography. I loved photographing landscapes and things sitting on my dresser. It was something that I truly enjoyed doing and something that I was good at! (Probably one reason I am good at details on wedding day haha). When I saw @kimsager and her pottery I knew that it was something I wanted to be a part of. I love her artistic eye and how she has created such beautiful and useful products! I offered to photographer work and guys, I am so happy that I did. Her work is incredible and I was able to sit and work with still life products again! I realized what I was missing out on and am so happy to have been able to do this for her! Check her out and go buy her stuff y’all! @thrown_by_hand
Sometimes, black and whites are the way to my heart.
Real talk for a sec. Its really hard to be a business owner in this world. Social media is a monster. People can be cruel. But, you know what? I decide what I want to do with my business, how I want to pamper my clients, and how much $$ I truly need to live off of. I may not charge what others do. I may charge more than some, and less than others. That is my choice, and that’s because I know my worth and then add tax. I love my job, my clients, my life, and so much else. This quote was a specifically beautiful one to paint. It hits so close to home and I couldn’t wait to share with y’all.
This week I get to see my girl @breathejphotography twice! I am super excited to get to work with her again, it feels like it’s been freaking forever since I saw your bright and shingling face! If you guys didn’t already know, one reason that I include a second photographer in my collections I’d because I actually am a “professional” second photographer myself! Having that second eye, having someone to capture the images you can’t be there for, someone to round up the groomsmen when you are with the ladies, and hey, who wouldn’t want a close friend to chat with throughout the day and keep you sane?! I second for jessi and can’t wait to work along side her again! Woot woot! Ps: aren’t her brides just the most beautiful people?
Happy National Coffee day!!!!! Today is like Christmas to me since Coffee is my love language. But anyway, I am so happy to say that I seriously have been slacking on insta because I’m so darned busy!! Plus, we took a little staycation at Disney at the beginning of the week, so I tried to stay away from insta (other than my stories!). Did you know that I released the dates for the Belle Femme Boudoir Soiree? Head on over to my Facebook to get in contact!!
