Welcome back Temple, hope everyone is keeping warm! Tomorrow we are kicking off the semester with our first mandatory General Assembly meeting at 4pm in room 200c, just in time for the snow to melt! We wish everyone luck on the first day of the semester and we will see you all tomorrow!
TSG wants to wish everyone health and happiness as we enter 2019. We are so proud of the challenges we conquered in 2018 and we are excited to take on many more during the upcoming year. We look foreword to seeing you all again in a few weeks!
During our winter break, we wanted to showcase some of our accomplishments from the past semester, starting with all the great work we have done within grounds and sustainability! From our sustainability task force, to our reaffirmation of the climate change agreement and working with @tusustainability it on projects like Thrift TU there is so much to be proud of. Most recently, we are proud to say TSG was awarded the TSG Green Grant from the Office of Sustainability! Shoutout to our Director of grounds and sustainability @sarahkuchan our Deputy Director @ivyatt on a job well done. Excited to see what is to come in the next semester!

Introducing our TSG Member of the Week- Mariesa Cozza! Originally a Utica, New York native, Mariesa is a junior Advertising and Sociology major, with a minor in Chinese. She currently serves as Temple Student Government’s Deputy Director of Parliament Communications. Aside from TSG, Mariesa a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon and a volunteer for Camp Kesem. In her free time, she loves to travel, hike, and binge watch Netflix documentaries!

Introducing our TSG Member of the Week, Conor Freeley! Coming all the way from Boston Massachusetts, he is a senior Political Science and Global Studies major. Conor serves as Temple Student Government’s Director of Government Affairs. Aside from TSG, Conor is not only involved on Temple’s campus, but also in public politics as well! He has worked on four campaigns, for the Pennsylvania State Representative, Brian Sims, and for the mayor of Boston. Currently, he is working for Temple’s Institute for Public Affairs, and is the senior advisor and former president for Temple College Democrats, co-chair for Pi Sigma Alpha (Temple’s Political Science Honors Society), and co-founder and former president for Temple Global Studies Society. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports and playing basketball, the drums, and the ukulele. Conor also loves to travel and has been to 14 countries and 25 states so far!
