Feeling grateful in my soul today, guys. ⠀ ⠀ For real—what an era we live in. That a girl from the northwoods of Wisconsin (where Internet is only available here at the max speed of 1.25 mb per second) can take a dream and build a business is incredible. ⠀ ⠀ That a girl who has always wanted to be a wife and mom can start a brand—already having two little kids—have another baby, finish a bachelor’s degree online, and continue to build a business is incredible. ⠀ ⠀ That a girl can move forward with the goal of homeschooling her kids, building their character and pouring into their heart and interests that make them unique individuals, and at the same time keep growing her business is incredible. ⠀ ⠀ It is not that I am anything special, but rather the way we work is evolving in such an amazing way. The way we can raise our families and still bring in income through the Internet has never been quite like this before, and it is changing the landscape of how women (and men!) work and connect with others. ⠀ ⠀ Dreams stir up and what once seemed impossible may actually be possible, with enough grit, gumption, and grace. ⠀ ⠀ The opportunity is there for the taking. Only, as Thomas Edison once said, opportunity is often missed by people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. ⠀ ⠀ I’d be fibbing if I said it wasn’t work. It takes a crazy juggling act to make it all function. It isn’t always easy and is never perfect. ⠀ ⠀ But I hope to look back and know that it was all worth it.
