My absolute favourite event from @mamameidit workshops, this time attending one with my daughter for a little mommy and me time! If you are in Houston, this is a great event happening this weekend on Saturday! Swipe right to see all the fun colorful pics and a video! Find more details about the event at @mamameidit
So, this is what has been keeping me busy lately and is my biggest reason for absence on the blogging scene. I absolutely love blogging, and hopefully, I should be able to find more time once my sister joins me this summer for blog. What is it that you would like to see me blogging about? I need some ideas as I might rebrand the whole thing!
Friday noon at @blendincoffeeclub with the sweetest @grrfeisty 😘😘!! Loved the super cool vibe of this place, it looks like I’ll be hanging out here more often! 😜
Houston is an amazing city; there's always something exciting happening in the town. Today evening we are attending a short film festival by @reelabilitieshouston Houston, something I am looking forward to watching with my daughter who turned nine yesterday. It's a film and arts festival that celebrates the life and talents of people with invisible and visible disabilities. From what I've heard each event is very well put together, and the films selected are life-changing. There's also an art show and a free concert tomorrow if you would like to see. I have tagged their insta page, or you can simply go to reelabilitieshouston.org and register online.
I tried my hand at moody flower photography ...#whatyathink ??
Look ma I created my own photoshoot!! 💝💖...while I was busy in my own photography this morning she woke up quietly on her own and made her own flat lay !!
Happy 2018 everyone!! I know I've been MIA, but I was always present here liking and following your journey if you may hv noticed. Starting off my New Year by putting myself as the biggest priority and promising to keep my blogging journey going without any breaks. Two things kept me busy in 2017 (busy is an understatement; honestly, let's say sleep deprived, ibuprofen guzzling busy) - my little drama queen kept me busy as you can see in the pic above and a fine jewelry business I launched in May. Things suddenly took off during the holiday season, and we were underprepared. Anyway, I've changed my bio and link temporarily to my business, take a look and let me know what you think. #happy2018🎉
MIA since few days...this is where I've been spending my mornings since past few weeks! I have cervical spine injury and the pain got worse in my neck and right arm, thankfully no surgery needed and my physiothearapy is almost over now and getting back to the normal routine! Just a thought, life is so precious y'all ...feeling extremely thankful for good health and great family! 😌☺️
Back into the routine and back to traveling!
That's only Day 1 of ripping out the dry walls and hardwood floors of our friend's badly affected house in Meyerland! There's no help and no contractors available, so my hubby and his friends rolled up their sleeves, put on their gloves and got to work. In less than 5 days this family will be back to their normal house, now that's the spirit of Houstonians! We saw the family smiling for the first time today in past 6 days 🙌🏼🙏 As for us, we are getting back to our normal schedule here in Sugar Land but praying hard for those still struggling with the flood waters 🙏
Heartbreaking - is the only word I can think of as I witness the worst hurricane in the history of USA. I live near brazos river in Sugar Land, and the scare of the river overflowing and water coming inside the house was real last night. Luckily we are in the voluntary evacuation zone and stayed put at home. We are safe, and so is our house, as of now, not sure about tomorrow if the levee doesn't hold up all that water! Thank you for those who checked on us. A lot of Houstonians have lost EVERYTHING including 2 of my very close friends. They are safe, but I am helpless and can't get to them to help them as all the roads around us are flooded and not passable. Please pray for all affected by the floods and if you can please donate to a local Houston charity. 📷 @reuters @kprc2
On Sundays I recharge and relax .....Which means I completely waste the entire day and feel sad at around 8 pm 😐 🤦♀️ #storyofmylifelately
