Happy 2018 everyone!! I know I've been MIA, but I was always present here liking and following your journey if you may hv noticed. Starting off my New Year by putting myself as the biggest priority and promising to keep my blogging journey going without any breaks. Two things kept me busy in 2017 (busy is an understatement; honestly, let's say sleep deprived, ibuprofen guzzling busy) - my little drama queen kept me busy as you can see in the pic above and a fine jewelry business I launched in May. Things suddenly took off during the holiday season, and we were underprepared. Anyway, I've changed my bio and link temporarily to my business, take a look and let me know what you think. #happy2018🎉
Finally getting into the Diwali spirit! For those who celebrate this #festivaloflights ...a very happy Diwali to you and your family! Oh and yes we made that pink glitter rangoli ourselves!! #happydiwali
MIA since few days...this is where I've been spending my mornings since past few weeks! I have cervical spine injury and the pain got worse in my neck and right arm, thankfully no surgery needed and my physiothearapy is almost over now and getting back to the normal routine! Just a thought, life is so precious y'all ...feeling extremely thankful for good health and great family! 😌☺️
Back into the routine and back to traveling!
That's only Day 1 of ripping out the dry walls and hardwood floors of our friend's badly affected house in Meyerland! There's no help and no contractors available, so my hubby and his friends rolled up their sleeves, put on their gloves and got to work. In less than 5 days this family will be back to their normal house, now that's the spirit of Houstonians! We saw the family smiling for the first time today in past 6 days 🙌🏼🙏 As for us, we are getting back to our normal schedule here in Sugar Land but praying hard for those still struggling with the flood waters 🙏
Heartbreaking - is the only word I can think of as I witness the worst hurricane in the history of USA. I live near brazos river in Sugar Land, and the scare of the river overflowing and water coming inside the house was real last night. Luckily we are in the voluntary evacuation zone and stayed put at home. We are safe, and so is our house, as of now, not sure about tomorrow if the levee doesn't hold up all that water! Thank you for those who checked on us. A lot of Houstonians have lost EVERYTHING including 2 of my very close friends. They are safe, but I am helpless and can't get to them to help them as all the roads around us are flooded and not passable. Please pray for all affected by the floods and if you can please donate to a local Houston charity. 📷 @reuters @kprc2
I will trade today's almost 100 degree weather for this relaxing pool right here, please! 🏊♀️....🏊♀️.....🏊♀️
I spoiled myself at the @westinthewoodlands for a weekend gateway with a friend who was visiting! These kind of short breaks really helps me get back at work all energized and stay focused! This week has been productive so far and hoping for the best for the rest of the week! How is your week going?
On Sundays I recharge and relax .....Which means I completely waste the entire day and feel sad at around 8 pm 😐 🤦♀️ #storyofmylifelately
Going through my notes and an amazing swag bag put together by the talented team of #performonpinterest, a Pinterest workshop by @momswoa & @mo_meg .......Houston ladies if you are looking to up your pinterest game this is the workshop you need to attend! The stunning house in the pic is where the workshop was held. One particular thing that came right on time for me in the swag bag is the girl boss t-shirt by @southernsaltboutique that I am completely in love with ❤
Sometimes all you need is your own company to enjoy good food and good music exclusively played just for you 🤗😇🎺🎼
All decked up in red white and blue, including everyone's bikes and the dog. Our 4th of July tradition is to participate in the community bike parade. Oh and the fireworks!! Who else is going for the fireworks tonight??
