One more, because 😍.
Quinn, happy 11 month birthday! You may have refused to take the sign out of your mouth the entire photoshoot, but that’s pretty standard these days as everything ends up in your mouth (well, expect food, because you know, you’re still crazy picky about it). You weigh 25 lbs., wear 18 month old clothing, and give us a workout every time we pick you up. You love to crawl, cruise, and play with the hay, remotes, Jonathan, and Lola. You hate the sun shining in your face, daycare drop off, and diaper changes. This month may have tested us with two trips to urgent care, but you’re growing up faster than we can handle -- moving to room two at daycare, a big boy car seat, and talking up a storm. But let’s just work a little more on “mama” being your first word, ok? Either way, we still love you like crazy. Thank you for being you. XO.
I knew you would be a good dad when you put Lola’s sweaters in the dryer to warm them up for her during the winter. But seeing you with Quinn is unlike anything I could have dreamed for. We are so, so lucky to have you. Happy first Father’s Day, Josh — we love you!
Because this team deserves more than an Insta Story post. #workhardplayhard #linkedinlife
I couldn’t get my act together to get prints to fill these frames, but I think it turned out better this way.
How many photos is too many photos of you and your baby? Asking for a friend.
Our mornings are usually a frantic frenzy, but every once in a while, one of *those* moments happens. Thank you, Josh, for capturing this moment. #momlife
Quinn, happy 10 month birthday! This past month seems to have been the biggest as you are checking off boxes and taking names! Crawling? Check. Standing and assisted waking? Check. Cruising? Check. Crawling up ledges? Check. “Bug of the Month”? Check. The official “notice” that you’re moving out of the infant room? Check. Check. Check. Despite the fact that this month really threw the entire family for a ringer with the brutal bug we all got (and then some), you helped celebrate my first Mother’s Day and it was everything I could have asked for. You continue to love Lola, Alexa, your daycare teachers, bike rides, and that random hay bale from your barn toy. You hate when we tell you “no,” but then after just a few tries, you know what “no” means and you listen. Makes a mom proud. But then again, everything you do makes us proud because clearly — we are obsessed with you. Thank you for being you. XO.
Weekend #momuniform: frizzy top knot, comfy sweatshirt, sunglasses, and smiles.
I used to be that person who thought, “Can’t they post anything OTHER than their kid?” But now I get it. This, right here, is the best part of my day. 💙
