Real post alert, sharing something I’ve never shared on social media before. First picture is my smile I hope I wear daily, 2nd picture is my physical therapy bill I had to pay today because my insurance is denying me any coverage due to my “chronic” diagnosis, 3rd picture is how many of the same letter I’ve gotten from insurance when I’ve tried to fight their decision, and 4th picture is each med/supplement I take daily that insurance is slowly deciding not to cover. I share this for two reasons 1. to bring awareness to chronic conditions and help other people fighting the good fight and 2. To be real and show that no one is perfect, we all have something we are fighting through whether you see it in the perfect instagram or not. We can’t compare ourselves based on everyone’s perfect feed. I’ve been quiet for too long about the fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome diagnosis I’ve had since I was 15 years old. It is by the grace of God and family and friends that have supported and surrounded me that I am who I am today. This chronic pain diagnosis is just another part of my story, just like being a teacher, photographer, daughter, friend. I want to use my story and help other people and show them it’s going to be okay. SO many people in my life have chronic conditions and I want us all to ban together and lift each other up! Please message me or send me people you know that have chronic conditions and need someone to talk to, I would love to encourage them. Thanks for following along, new wedding content coming SO SOON 💕🙌
A taste of Spring is just what I needed to get through Monday tomorrow, oh and the fact that it’s the bachelor finale 🙈
Making my 3 classes of students read an article today about how distracting phones are in class. Say a prayer for me. Update to come later 😂📱❌🆘 #airpods4life
