“Oh, home. Let me come home” 🎶 This song by @esmzeros often plays in my head when I’m heading home to my Tiny House. •————————• 📣Name a song that reminds you of a special place ⬇️
Less stuff, more life. 💛 •—————————• For my almost 3 week trip through Mexico, I packed two dresses, one skirt, two pairs of shorts, 5 T-shirt’s, 2 bathing suits, one pair of lightweight ankle jeans, and one pair of yoga pants. Love yourself, because you are one-of-a-kind and just being different is beautiful. 💜🧡💛💚💙 •————————• This art is created from painted yarn, intricately wrapped around a cow skull. This indigenous artistic practice, used by the Wizarika of the Sierra Masterson Occidental Mountains in Northern Mexico, is meditative and spiritual. First, the surface of the skull is covered in beeswax that has to be warmed and softened in the hands of the artisan. Then designs are then rhythmically tapped into the surface of the wax with thread until the entire surface is covered. This can take up to three days. The wax hardens as time passes. At the end of the process, the piece is blessed and released. @evokethespirit #mexicanart
Where’s Waldo? ✌️🙌
I’ll be here... if you need me. 🤗🍷 •————————• One of my favorite things to do when I arrive at a new destination is to get up to a high vista point to get my bearings of the city. Here I am enjoying last night’s sunset with a glass of wine in #mazatlan ✌️🇲🇽
Life is a little spicier with a good cup of chai ☕️ 🤗 •————————————• Normally, I order lattes, but this day I felt like changing it up. The menu said that they make their own chai from scratch and, while I’m not going to pretend I know what that means, it struck my fancy. I’m happy to report it was delicious, confirming my belief that trying new things is always the right decision. 🌵🌞 •————————————• What’s your morning drink of choice?
