They say the first day of spring is today... not sure I believe them by these current temperatures. Cheer me up and drop a line with your location and if Spring has sprung where you are! 🌸
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!! 🍀
*disclaimer: it’s about to get real.... Growing up I never really cared what others thought. As a military brat, I never really had time. I was always the new girl and I had to learn confidence and security at a young age. This was rare for teenage girls but it was because how I was raised. However, in the past few years things have shifted. My confidence has been whisked away and I find my insecurities taking over my thoughts. Recently I’ve had to ask myself some really hard questions. “Why?” When I really dig deep, the answer is this little business we have built. I have made this business my identity. And as much as I love the industry we are in, at the same time I don’t. We all want community and yet we fear vulnerability. This leads us to living superficial lives and everyone trying to look the same. After talking with multiple women in this industry, this lack of confidence and insecurity is a real issue. We lose our confidence when we lose ourselves. I dare say instead of just being a #communityovercompetition let’s build a #communityofpurpose and intention. We are all so much alike and yet our paths are all different. Let’s stop trying to look like everyone else and embrace our individual story and another’s. Let’s stop having surface conversations and dig deeper. Let’s be encouragers and cheerleaders for one another. I think if we embrace the heart of community more women in our industry would begin to walk the journey that is set before them in confidence. * something that has been on my heart and I think a perfect time to share for #fridayintroductions 📷 @chelsealynphotography 💕
***Quick Tip!! Wear comfy shoes during your engagement session!!! We always do lots of walking! Just look at Mary and George’s session on the blog!
It’s crazy that we usually meet our couples at the engagement session and then leave the session feeling like old friends. So much laughter and good times with these two! 💕
We love our grooms just as much as our brides. Scott looked as if he could be the next James Bond... what do ya think?
