24/30. In August of this year I had the absolute pleasure of travelling to Copenhagen to document the wedding of P, who is Swedish and A, who is Danish. It was the mixing of two brilliant minds and due to their passion for sustainability and support of local gems they chose to have their reception at @grospiseri; the only rooftop restaurant in Copenhagen. I can’t even articulate how wonderful this project is and how much genuine good it does for the community. For some mad reason the council are trying to have Gro Spiseri closed down to make PARKING SPACES (what?!?) If you could spare two minutes today I would so appreciate you clicking the link in my profile bio to protest against this happening where you can find much more information about it as well. Thank you xxx
23/30. Thank you so much everybody for the birthday wishes over the last two days, I do really appreciate every single one even if I haven’t replied to you individually. I’m currently sat on my futon chair in the living room having cracked open a bottle of Buck’s Fizz. Jesse had his first Nativity play this afternoon and I had a heated disagreement with a (small) group of other parents. Typical me, really. We had been asked not to photograph or video it as some of the children are nervous or softly spoken and also, without the school saying this, get off your fucking phones and watch your child without a screen in front of your face! Anyway, a row of them decided to ignore this and it was so incredibly rude and off putting. My heart rate has now gone down but please - if you are reading this and have any kind of play or theatre production or gig to go to over Christmas - leave the phone in your bag. K thanks 😘
22/30. I’ve just written out and enveloped 60+ Christmas cards for the entirety of Jesse’s reception school class. With a little help from him. By a little, I mean he wrote his name; often incorrectly. It’s the little moments like these that I adore being around for though. It’s my birthday today (have I mentioned?!) so I’ve had the greatest day with my Wolfpack. Thank you for the pasties and the giggles @hannonface @omg.its.mrs.t I love you xxx
21/30. I forgot to post yesterday. It’s been a bit of a crazy weekend and I finished up the photographing extravaganza with Abi & Ed’s wedding at @stonebarncotswolds yesterday which was utterly beautiful. Also a real pleasure to meet the handsome gents from @the_new_town_centres 🥰 // I’ve put the car into the garage today for some winter tyres, enjoyed a refreshing 30 minute brisk walk home, eaten birthday cake and now I’m watching Harry Potter. I’m a happy Claudia. How was your weekend?
19/30. Yes, this is a real image from a real wedding. That Rhode Island light is just something else. I’m feeling great today. I’ve had a pre wedding today with a couple who I have so many shared interests with that it just felt like hanging out with old friends, and a family shoot with gorgeous kids (& parents!) from J’s school; it’s so nice to connect with local humans. J and I have just been to see the latest Wreck It Ralph film and I’m drinking a cheeky G&T from the selection box I just bought as an early birthday present to myself. It’s my birthday on Tuesday. Growing ever closer to 30. Very appreciative. 🖤 Hope you are all having the best weekend.
